NGC 5139 Omega Centauri

NGC 5139 Omega Centauri R51 G51 B51 H10

Lots and lots of 60 second exposures to avoid saturating the sensor with the full moon.

Hey Mike,

Yep, bedding in the gear and trying to make the most of every night. Even with the moon making it very painful.

10 years of doing nothing much in imaging, then trying to pop something out every day!

I've got to say, it's all just a bit of a fluke. I've been working on trying to get the LX200 working properly, and have had no end of problems, and when I had to bring it inside again to work on it, I setup the EQ6 Pro.

I've been able to image on that within days of setting it up. I kind of wish I actually set it up 10 years ago rather than keeping it in the garage!

I know I'll probably burn out of this phase, and I'm sure needing to get more regular sleep patterns will override the enthusiasm a bit.
