Mars Saturn 4th May

SPX350 F35.6, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters.

Seeing was fair to good sometimes settling but over 70 deg alt seeing deteriorated.

Saturn was not as good but good enough for banding to show however hex N.Pole is faint and showed up fine with IR685nm filter.

Regards, John.

Thanks everyone, my Saturn was a little over processed but I did it in a rush as I was due out that evening for another go at Mars.

Great Mars John.
Do you know what the round white spot just in from the right edge is? I saw that visually the other night.

Hello Dave the white ring like structure is Olympus Mons volcano 25km tall, the white colour is cloud - ice crystals forming.

Regards, John.

Lovely set John, it's great when all those hours spent waiting for decent seeing are rewarded.
