Cheers guys  and Derek, the high cloud can be really annoying, it kinda teases you, makes you think its a clear sky...but it isn't  ...then you wish you had started imaging something brighter, do I change objects or not? Do I change objects or not..  ...I just kept on going  .. and drinking beer while trying to decide

Cheers Steve and yes Sakib has some great suggestions, according to him this is the first amateur image of FG1...I suspect he means first deep amateur image that he has seen..but who knows

Looks like a mask with 2 big eyes and flaming hair.

Great image Mike
When comparing your image to the VLT you managed to capture some of that green wisp at the bottom.

Cheers Michael, I seem to have got everything the VLT got... just more faintly and more blurred  ...less stars though of course, due to the slight difference in aperture

That's a new object for me Mike. The red wings are a pretty amazing feature and you've done well to get them in such detail.
