Venus, The Moon and Comet C/2013 US10 (Catalina) from Newcastle.

lucky to get anything really, and I was kidding myself I saw the comet easily, it was a cloud then I saw it in the image

tripod two ham fists and camera taped to a little vixen polarie

thanks Dennis - the last one was a 10 second shot to find the ruddy comet -i couldn't see it in the twilight. of course i really prepared for it thought it was going to be clouded out so i didn't do a thing then got up to let the dog out at about 4am and whoa - what a sight and virtually no clouds in that area. mad scramble to get a camera,battery that had some charge and a new bulb connection. also had to find some AA's for the polarie

i really wished i had the observatory going, putting a scope on it would have been better
