M8, ngc246 & ngc55

I have done what you might call some micro image runs, single subs! Unlike raymo's amazing typically less than <60s single subs... I have been working in 600s (10m) subs just to get some decent SNR and forgetting about keeping the sky background to a minimum.

All three images are 1xLRGB 600s.

Oh and there are some pretty heavy sky gradients in M8, pre-colour calibration it was greener than The Hulk

Were you using your Nikon at the time?

All of them where taken with the QHY9. I haven't tried taking anything with the Nikon on my new refractor, I need to get spacer for it. The QHY9 gets ~45% curvature without the flattener so I am guessing that'll go up to something crazy like 65% on the full frame DSLR

Excellent, makes sense. Yep, that would add some serious distortion to the image
