14" Giant APO Triplet Refractor...

And no, I am not building or purchasing it Just thought I would share this!

So if you could look through it at one target - what would it be? I would probably be boring and go for Saturn or Jupiter!

I'd probably along the lines of Whirlpool Galaxy or the Antennae pair myself.

It is the ASA flagship DDM160 Direct Drive Mount with a capacity of 300kg

Oh yeah I remember that mount. Think I saw a big scope on it during SPSP 2014?

Compared to the price of that 14" fractor that ASA mount is cheap.

I wonder why two smaller scopes mounted on top? I can understand one dedicated as a guide scope.

Apparently one is a guide scope while the other is a Solar Scope.
