Moon - near and far

I thought I would image the almost full moon close to perigee and apogee to look at the size variation. Both images were taken with the same telescope and DSLR set up. You really appreciate the difference when they are put side by side.

ha!.............. interesting too that the close approach version seems tilted towards earth more too revealing more of the "dark side!"
