The final Carina!

This is revision 12. This is the final revision.
I am sure it can be improved with more data, RGB stars, but I have had enough as I am sure you have.

Took the advice of other members and tried 2 minute subs and layer masked the end result with the 15 minute subs to produce a less blown out core/keyhole. It is still a bit blown out but an improvement.

I have to admit it looks really good when printed out on glossy paper. Not so good on some monitors.

Anyway, thanks one and all for your advice and encouragement. I now move on to the Rosette

Cheers.

It is quite lovely. Some images of the big ones (Eta, M42, Tarantula) try to get every last hint of faintest background nebulosity, resulting in a piece of white paper. You've got beautiful interesting structure.

Thanks Bo. Appreciated!

Thanks Slawomir. Have to say the improvements are due to you turning me towards Pixinsight and AlPal to FITS Liberator for the stretching of stacks. Plus everyone else who has made very helpful suggestions over time.
