Small Assortment

Hi all,

Haven't contributed in a while largely because I've been thwarted by dew and clouds for some time now so I thought I'd just post what I've been tinkering with while I try and organise a dew system.

Managed to get another 2 or so hours of horsehead data since my last post, up to 5 hours and 25 minutes now - still need more though (60s subs @ ISO1600).

Finally managed to get a quick look at M45 through the trees in my backyard as well which was nice, hopefully get another crack at it soon (25 minutes of exposure so far - 60s subs @ ISO1600).

And an image of the Moon I put together in Registax and CS2 back in November that I'm pretty sure I forgot to post.

Until next time...

Cheers,
Bret

Thanks, Ralph.
It might be a bit heavy on saturation... I can never tell if it looks overdone because I've been staring at an under-saturated image for too long or because I over did it

Nice photo of horse head region, the flame nebula is amazing. The brightness of stars are very natural for the total time of exposition.
The Moon is very good, also.
M 45 shows well the blue nebula around stars. But the photo seems to be a little noisy. Alone it will be very nice, but together with the others ... it looses position !
