Here's 10h I did over 4 nights at Ilford in 10min subs. Baader 7nm Ha with QHY9 and 100mm SMC Pentax-M two stops down. Seeing was pretty good. There's a big one here. Lots more to process.
I REALLY like this one Marc. Beautiful work. My first thought was what a shame to be shooting Ha from Ilford, but if the product is that, double thumbs up!

Thanks Rob. I was actually doing colour with my new newt but had the QHY9 piggy backing as a back up. Two cameras, double the fun.
WOW! that's fantastic Marc super image mate, look at all those HII regions If you could go colour too (and get it right = pretty tough), man, that would be a cracker great as is anyway
Very cool, Marc! It's an interesting object in Ha.
Thanks Rick. Sure is. It's deep alright. There's a lot of features reminiscent of the spiral arms of a galaxy in there, including the barred cloud in the middle. The strings of small Hii regions look like pearls on a string too. They seem to follow structures like other wrapping arms.

Thanks a lot Mike. Yeah that'd be cool but a lot of work to get it right.
Wow, Marc. What a great field of view and with so much activity. Those amazing balls of gas are intriguing to me. It reminds me of those puffs of gas you see sometimes when dry ice is evaporating - little fireworks! Thanks for this.

Thanks guys. Peter, I put a 1:1 view here [5MB] if you want to have a closer look.
Awesome Marc! The 1:1 image was great to have a swirl around in with some many fascinating knots of HII nebulosity on display. Top work. Will be great to see some colour added to complete the mission. Well done.

Thanks Jase. The mission sounds overwhelming right now. Maybe later.

You can really see the LMC is an old barred spiral galaxy distorted by the Milky Way in this shot. Look at all those Ha areas. Amazing.
Greg.
Thank you very much Greg. Glad you liked it. Its structure is starting to come out alright. Although it could do with double the exposure, or a faster, better quality lens.
