Bintel great service feedback

Hi,

Just thought I'd share this anecdote about my recent dealings with
the guys at Bintel. I'm sure everyone knows the two guys I mean.

Just before Easter I decided to purchase another DSI imager.
I also intended to travel to the country over the Easter break,
with the dreaded thought that the package might show up and
sit on my doorstep over Easter! The order was placed only days before.

Unbeknown to me, my wife rang Bintel and to my amazement, they
sent a second camera in an overnight bag along with a spare freight bag
to send the first unit (whenever that might arrive), back ,
free of charge to us.

Is that exceptional service or what.
BOTH units arrived just before we left, one went on the country trip with
us, and the second is now on it's way back.
(gawd I hope it gets there!)

I've got no affiliation with Bintel btw...but service like this deserves
a mention.

Had a similar experience from York. I was exchanging a 5mm e.p for 8mm. Had already returned the 5 but 8s weren't in stock. Seemed to take ages to get in, so I rang York because I wanted the lens before Easter. It came by courier to my door. No charge. That too is good service. I guess these guys really want our dollar$.

I have also recieved the same sort of service from Bintel.

I once ordered a bottle of jungle juice to clean the SCT corrector plate.
I rang one afternoon about 1 pm and the stuff was on my doorstep Near Gosford via courier or express post or whatever it was the next morning at 10 am.
I couldnt believe it.

Also I bought a lens pen and there was a problem with it, so they just sent another free of charge....no probs.

Other stuff I have bought has always been with top notch service.

yep there service cant be faulted bought by sct when it arrived the lnt module was damaged it was around 4.45pm rang them and by 9.30 next morning it was on my door 500k,s away no need to say anymore

I was in Melbourne over Easter, and thought I might as well drop into Bintel at Camberwell. I was really impressed with Roger, especially his product knowledge, and how he handled an enquiry about getting an 8 inch dob for one of my kids. Just as fine service as I am accustomed to from the Sydney branch of Bintel!
