You know you're an astroholic when:
- you tell people at dinner parties you have a PHD in astronomy, but you're just referring to your guiding software...
- you use the fact that you have a PHD in astronomy to regularly leave the table at dinner parties to look at the sky outside...
- your underwear brand isn't "Rio" is "Lostock"...

You know you're an astroholic when:
- your favourite fruit are oranges cause they look like the sun in H alpha...
- you pick oranges with black spots on the skin cause they look like and active sun...
- you can look at an orange with black spots on it and correctly guess the julian date of when the sun had spots in the same position...

You know when you're an astroholic when you can match car number plates to its corresponding NGC, Messier, IC catalogue numbers and recite the objects details! All whilst driving, .

Ahhh but there are no clear nights in Melbourne - so that can't be an issue.

The NGC objects with our rego numbers are visible, one in Aries, one in Tucana. The IC objects aren't. Mum has a 6 digit all numeric and Simbad won't give me a match out of SAO or Hyperleda.

Can't remember the last night here when there weren't clouds everywhere or it wasn't rainy overnight.
So much rain , I needed to select 4WD to get out of my backyard yesterday.
Gotta spend more time at Astroholic.com , been a while since I looked in.

You know you're an Astroholic.......
when you're concentrating so hard on your PHD graph, you don't notice the web a spider is building between the bridge of your glasses and the top of your monitor.
sigh........
