He talked to a few guys on the uk astro site and I think cloudy nights (not exactly sure)

There are a few different adapters around, but it seems to be a common problem with most webcams, it is with my 3 anyway. I need to be able to get the chip closer to the PST. It will be an easy fix though. There is a small shoulder on the adapter (about 3-4mm thick), if I grind that down with the ol' dremmil the camera should go all the way in, right to the camera case then. That will give me an additional 6-8mm then, plenty of focus travel hopefully. Maybe even enough to fit a Mogg FR to try for full disk imaging

Excellent image that Paul. Like to see how you do on the deep sky stuff with the DMK. Would you believe not had a clear night over here in the UK since getting my DMK .

Thanks Steve. I'm looking forward to trying a few long exposures as well.

Apart from the temperature, I sometimes think that the UK weather has decided to holiday down under at the end of last year. We've only had half a dozen (and that's being generous I think) decent nights since mid October.

Fantastic shot! Excellent!
The comparative view with the Toucam really makes the DMK seem like miles ahead.

Top work Paul!

The difference between the ToUcam and the DMK is significant.

Al.
