Crazy science :Fearless Felix traveled faster than speed of light

Crazy science :Fearless Felix traveled faster than speed of light!!!
This is really bad Astronomy.Hilarious
MSNBC might want to put some of its reporters through basic Science/Astronomy classes again.
During a brief report it "explains" Felix Baumgartner's sky-dive from the stratosphere, during which the native Austrian broke the sound barrier, the cable network mistakenly labeled his feat as having traveled “faster than the speed of light.”
Gross incompetence on MSNBC.
Don't they hire qualified Knowledgeable Science Journalists?
According to Einstein the Speed of light is a physical impossibility.
If Felix really traveled faster than the speed of light he would have infinite mass and energy LOL.

Can't call it a slip of the pen. It really does give me cause to lose faith in the credibility of journos. Particularly in this case.

The one reported by jjj recently where astronomers were called astrologists. Well, that was bad enough but "Faster than the speed of light" Woe is us if these are the people that report the news to us.

Cheers
