Today's sun in Perth.

Few high clouds, and the seeing varied from excellent to miserable. I had a run of unexplained usb dropouts and almost gave up in disgust. For what it's worth, here's my first attempt to combine long and short exposures to bring out the prominences.
Scope Lunt80, DMK41, powermate 2.5. 1000 frames per tile. 11 tiles.
I think I'm seeing limited mostly, but I've had one session where the detail in the final result was significantly better than this. I'm damned if I can remember what I did differently!
Anyway - suggestions welcome.

Hi Andrew - super result - a lot of work goes into these and I appreciate the views! I have no technical tips for mosaics cos I am hopeless at them - you seem to have them covered!
