Crescent Sun from near Wagga Wagga

Hi all,
Just another eclipse pic to add to the list. Blessed with clear skies but the seeing was pretty poor. Best I could do......

Managed to capture a flare from one of the active regions (AR1613 I think)

2 image composite. One image for the surface detail and one image for the faint prominences around the solar limb.

Canon 60D
Baader Hyperion Zoom 8-24mm EP at 16mm
Coronado PST (Personal Solar Telescope)
NEQ6 Pro Goto Mount
Captured in monochrome. False colour applied in post processing.
