Just a little bigger and heavier than I want to deal with Derek. I haven't had a chance to use it on Jupiter yet but it should be a great performer according to the optical test suplied by Istar - 1/5th wave peak to valley but literally 99% of the wavefront is much better than that (a slight error on one part of the circumference pushes the correction out to 1/5). The scope is as new and about $1000 less than it would cost to get a new one. If you're seriously interested send me a pm with your address and I'll get a freight quote.

Hi Tony I have an Istar 127mm f/8 achro lense set on its way , and if this 152mm is still for sale in about 3 weeks when mine arrives I will give you a report as to how good my 127mm is , same lense as your beauty but only 127mm . .
From what I have gleaned off the net these Istars are world class .
Brian.
