A fool and his eclipse tools

Well i have now finalised my eclipse setup. its taken a while and taken a lot of thought - but i have narrowed it down to two lightweight travel setups.

both dual cameras, on a losmandy Starlapse and now the Astrotrac. Both rigs driven by the macbook air 11 driven by solar eclipse maestro

both being packed now - yet to make my filters, will do so tonight.

LOL Alan is packed and ready to go - he has 270grams left on his 40kg limit (with some of my gear ) and 2kg in the backpack carryon. i have yet to measure the gear but i suspect it will be as close

Still got one point of failure being your Macbook.

Dig up an old laptop and load copies of everything on it as well and test it.

already have that - but eclipse orcvhestrator pro still wont run the cameras the way they should be , so i can use setnc - but only with one camera - so thats the fallback - that and a bulb setting and some manual shots

Looks good! I especially like the observatory dome. Should keep you out of those early morning winds
