Introducing Frankenscope-C8LX90GPS

I had a GPS LX 90 base left over after I sold the OTA. Then I somehow bought another old 8" SCT - an old black tube Celestron on worm gears.
I thought they would go well together so here it is...
A GPS LX90 mounted old C8 with brand new audiostar hand box.
It looks pretty cool actually and can't wait for the clouds to go to collimate it and then try it out.
Just have to think of a use for the Ed Byers worm gears now.

well PM me and we can talk- I can honestly say I don't think I will get around to using them with too many other distractions. And am not that handy!
have heard lots of good things about them though.
Rapidly running out of room with all things stellar!
