Likely someone in your firewall settings or router, or other blocking script.

Well something is blocking my IP...

I went to a Lan party last night and my gaming machine and laptop were both able to get this forum. From home I can't connect from my gamer, server or laptop.

Its not computer settings as 3 computers here stopped at the same time. I reset the modem... Still no joy...

lol virus, its got to be your router or modem. If you can use the net on them but just cant use this site then try running traceroute, if it pings this site then your got an ip listed as blocked. You didn't do a DOS attack on iis did you rofl. Unless your router has blocked this site then its not going to happen on all 3 pcs.

I have found lately that a number of sites that previously were no trouble to access that either do not access or take a loooong time to load with IE8

They have included IIS and hotmail. These sites are usually no bother with Firefox.

The access to hotmail was fixed by reinstalling IE8 but IIS is still the same, sometimes it loads sometimes it doesn't.

I have also found problems with ADSL access (I think due to overload at my local exchange) that is got around by using my backup wireless connection.
