Venus, Jupiter and a perspective of Uranus

Hi everyone.

The other night (15th October) I thought I'd give Uranus a go with the 12" SkyWatcher Goto Dobsonian, 5x Powermate, and Canon EOS 600D. Using HD video crop mode in OK seeing got a nice result. I also took 8x5second photos at ISO6400 and stacked those to capture a couple of moons. I also created a space-based view of Uranus using 3D transform in Photoshop and the original Uranus image.

Also attached is a comparison image of Venus and Jupiter from the 16th October with Uranus shown at their relative angular sizes.

Thanks for looking,

Tom

Great work Tom, nice to see the comparative sizes. I tend to lose track of this as I'm using different barlows and scaling for the different targets.
