eclipse set up

Had a spare filter adaptor ring for my camera so I brought some solar film stuck it on the ring and tried it out yesterday
Worked well I thought as this shot straight out of the camera.
A Canon 450d, no telescope just through the lens hope it works on the eclipse …..just one thought it is a bit white think it should be more orange? Any ideas ?

Rob, I have both Baader and glass filters and it's the glass ones that give a yellow/orange sun. The Baader film gives a grey/white sun.
