O'l Luna occults Antares

Just a reminder, albeit a lil late. The Moon occults Antares first thing
tomorrow morning 15/05/06 EST 00:15 DB 01:40 RD

As of now 22:15 on the 14th, Antares is in the same FOV as the Moon
in my 14mm XW & 8" f/6 newt. The reapperance off the Dark limb should
be something to see, as well as a bright star such as Antares disappearing
behind the bright limb of an almost fullmoon.

regards,CS

Rob

thanks rob, i had a look at 8.30 and they looked close and welcome back to IIS, official users of pentax!

you should think about getting some mate, they are really good. We here at IIS have always recommended them, even to those Televue groupies.

Anyway a pentax would work beautifully beside that XW thingy you have..... now what brand was that again
