Hi all,
I managed a session this afternoon and only planned to look as the Sun was lowish and seeing was good at times and appalling at others - well that never stops me so out came the trusty Lunt and DMK imager. The new AR is a very interesting 'mess' with lots of going ons. I saw a small flare and the filaments were dancing around - some of the small ones changes while I was at the eye piece - I do not recall really being able to see motion in the past (I can pick change over time) but today I could - great to witness our active star.
