Yes another Helix! from Tassie

Hello all, I tried to get some Helix with a bright Moon only across the way from it, and clouds. Got three hours but ended up discarding 30 odd minutes.
This is the 60Da with a CLS filter, five min subs and TAk 120.
EXIF was 19-21'c.

Better that my first attempt last year but would love to try again with no Moon.

Will have ago tonight with narrow band .....

Cheers all
Graz

Ooo, I like that very much. It's nice to have a bit more of the surrounds for a change. Way cool.

Yes another Helix from Tassie

thanks geezers!
Tried to narrow band it tonight with my H alpha filter I bought off here. Was universally bad- the weather of course. Can't wait to put a roof over my set up as I am bloody sick of dragging tarps around!
Graz.
