Celestron Advance Series GT Mount Power Problem

I have a Celestron Advance Series GT Mount , 2004 vintage.
It appears not to be powering up. I have tried running from both a mains adapter and from a car battery, it makes no difference. When I turn the power on there is no sign of life in the mount, no lights or messages appear.

Have the electronics died, if so can they be replaced.

Thanks

Brendan
