Places to view from (Melourne)

Hey guys,

I was supposed to be heading to Kinglake (bit north of the norhtern suburbs of Melbourne) to do a bit of stargazing on my aunt and uncles property, plans have changed though and I was wondering if there where any easily accessible spots to get good views from that are relatively (and hour two's drive) near Melbourne.
