150mm Skywatcher Achromaitc F/8-Tuning air Spaced doublet

Hello I own a skywatcher 150mm Achro refractor -I cleaned off Moisture btewween the doublet lens -I can see some Alignment marks on the sides of the Doublet lens -But when I line them up I still dont get a good image - Tony - Any Info Available - on tuning -- Tony

hello.i had to do the same thing not long ago.all i did was make sure the small spacers glued to each element lined up.but be careful that you dont overtighten the retaining ring,or the spacers will move,and spread glue over the glass.thats what happened to me.

Are you really sure you put the lense set in the right way around ? its easy to do .
I did this with a Celestron HD102 achro many years ago , as the marks dont actually say what way around the lenses point only the orientation in relationship to one another . After I turned them around as a pair the views were very good again . Great scope .
Worth a look .
