Omega Centauri imaged with the RC-8 and 0.75x AP Reducer

Hello,

Image HERE.

Another test with the RC-8 and the AP 0.75x Reducer, working as a 0.7x, in my GSO RC-8 f/8, making a 8" f/5.6 scope !!. The result as for FOV was amazing.

It is just missing to collimate the primary mirror of the RC-8 to fix the egg shapped stars on the corners as can be seen on the image.

I am very happy with this setup.

That's good!

That combination is working well, really like the star colours.

Cheers,

Justin.

Yes, that is the PN of the reducer. Now I have my RC full collimated, new observatory, etc... just awaiting for the weather's cooperation.

Best Regards,

Fernando
