Permanent data deletion - does it work?

Hi,

Those upgrading a PC or laptop may find this interesting (it's a safe site)

That is an interesiting idea.
Though drives are so cheap now that I open up the drive and hit it with the platters with the welder when I have to be sure. An old drive isn't worth much anyway.

I never worry

if anyone can find anything worthwhile or incriminating on my old hard drives they are welcome to it. However I repartition drives and move data around so much that it would not be worthwhile.

I have about 20 old HDD here and I often look through them for old files (that haven't been erased)

Barry

PS If you know anyone who does the special recovery they are welcome to my old drives provided they let me know if they find anything juicy or otherwise interesting.

B.
