Hi Mark
I first looked into this after the great Ha work Marc posted with his 200mm lens. I've got the k-mount lens (2 now and another ordered) but Marc uses M42 versions I think, which are probably easier to get adaptors. I got one custom made by Peter Tan - took ages to get and I'd almost given up on it, but glad I was able to give it a go.

Sounds awesome Marc. You need lots of data and clear nights for sure.

Nice one Rob. Isn't it relaxing doing wide field now and then??

Like shooting fish in a pond compared to imaging through a scope for sure! I wouldn't have got this one without Geoff coming to rescue with additional M42 spacers I'd forgotten to bring...

Would have to check the backfocus on your camera to see if it will reach focus.

Thanks David. "Sharing is Caring" I've heard my young ones saying, whereever they picked that up

The pentax lens are 45.6mm backfocus I think. MIght just take you up on the NIkon if at Leyburn - hard to get weekends to go for 2 nights and good weather for me though.

Thanks Peter. Yes, its crying out for more frames and horizontal display. Its surprising how fast the milky way moves down to the West when you're shooting 20min subs though! Would have been a multi-night effort. Maybe next year
