Nullarbor Moonset

Took this one at dusk the night of the startrails shot posted previously, shot settings as follows:

Canon 5D MK III
Canon 70-200 F4L @ 200mm
F4 and ISO 3200 @ 2 seconds

tried to get it the afternoon before but just couldn't find it

enjoy!

Grahame.

Sweet shot.

It really communicates Aussie without any identifying landmarks.

Cracking image. I would prefer it without the tree, but still a lovely shot.

Wow, beautiful colours. Are sunrises/moonsets typically like that in the Nullarbor, or was this a particularly colourful day?

The horizon is also clearly curved... I know that the 70-200 f/4L is a very good, low-distortion lens... so I'm guessing it's Earth's curvature?

Wonderful image Grahame.

The colours are fantastic, I haven't been out that way for nearly 30 years but it definately brings back memories.

Cheers

Thanks again all

Nearly every day is just as colorful all depends on the clouds around really (if any!) the horizon was very flat out there with little to no features around to go off.
