Sweet Astrofest

Had a ball and here is a selection of some images captured either with 5" refractor or 10" SCT using a QSI583wsg. Thanks all for all the laughs and great companionship.
Tried to get a few new images as well as testing new software on old images. In order:-
47 Tuc: Ngc253: Ngc6960: Ngc6744: Helix: IC4603: M27: M83.

A superb collection Allan, that’s quite a haul of some beautiful, celestial jewels.

Cheers

@Troy – is that an abstruse reference to a shrieking Marmot on a rock?

Thanks for all the kind comments. It took quite a while to do all the processing but think of all the Sidonio's that I can now do. I have a few more images to post when I get around to it but one more piece of equipment to test and then I'll get really serious.

Great selection Allan, it's great when it all comes together like that eh?
The Veil gets my vote as your best up there..verrrry nice.
As usual, now wishing I had spent way more time at AF, oh well, maybe next year for the 20th anniversary.

Great collection here Allan, in particular IC4603 has my preference
I have to find a way to join this astrofest soon or later, it would be a great chance to meet you guys. Do they also cook sausauges and burgers for visitors on daytime?

Clear skies

It was excellent catching up with you and your great "software" for processing those images. I may get that program!

I'm retired now and the wife came home and asked what I had been up to and I said I was processing my images from Astrofest.
"So nothing all day?"" was the curt reply.

Anytime Marco, you'd be welcomed and as all can attest the food is something to write home about!!!! We all hang around and BS the day away until nightime and then its full on, and then BS some more. I spotted IC4603 at the top of images of the Rho Orphicus complex and thought that it would make a great target on its own but using an f10 10"scope made it a very faint target that required a bit to get it as its sooooo faint.
