Go look today on the ninemsn website front page. It says alot of the attitudes towards disabled people in Australia. It might come to a surprise for people but disabled athletes have to work their butts off (sometimes even more then non-disabled athletes) to win medals.

I tried t oget info on their progress and found it rather difficult to get. i agree that Nine are lax in reporting, but the ABC is worse - the coverage is far from being a stellar coverage of their event. Even the papers are slack - cant find much to do with the medal tally or the events themselves. its really chalk and cheese between both events
