Losmandy Star Lapse or Polarie for time lapse

Neither of these units do move shoot move type movements as far as I am aware.

How does that work with panning during shooting time lapse night shots where the exposure may be 30 seconds at 14mm and F2.8?

Wouldn't it mean the Polarie etc is blurring the 30 second image with its panning motion.

Ideally it would be still, shoot then move then be still and shoot etc.

Perhaps its just not noticeable.

Greg.
