Here's another image with the Baader UV/IR cut filter.

Really Nice Paul,

I have noticed that all your images lately with bright stars have been very blue...really noticeable in the Omega shot..is this a more true color example or has more to do with the UV/IR filter your using.

The images are initially produced with the wrong colour balance (due to modded camera and IRIS), so it's up to me to get the colour balance correct. It's something I've been spending lots of time lately trying to get right - but as you have noticed, I am still trying.

The new Baader UV/IR filter has changed the colour balances again (there's no IR now) and so my battle with colour balance continues....

Paul

Paul,

Fantastic image, mate.

Try this in IRIS after you've set your BLACK point: RGBBALANCE 1.96 1 1.23

That should help you somewhat.

Regards,
H
