Astrofest M17

Slowly crunching through the data from Astrofest. This one is M17 taken on the 14th - the only image I captured that night. This one is 18x5mins Lum, 9x5mins each RGB & 5x10mins Ha, all 1x1 with the QSI683ws-8/10" Newt.

Still not sure about the colour balance but using this as my point of reference:

wow look at the image scale. Peter apart from Mikes suggestion, what about using the HDR function in PI to bring out some details? I reckon its there in that image - easily.

Lovely work there Peter. I love the restraint you've shown, by not over stretching the data and burning out any of the brighter detail.

That's such a great shot.
I reckon you could even squeeze a little more of other colours & sharpness out of it with some careful re-processing as your data is so good.
