I stuck one of those el cheapo Samyang 500mm f/6.3 mirror lenses (compare with the Sony 500mm f/8 mirror with RRP about $A1450 but that is a full auto lens) on my Sony a77.
7 frames stacked in AutoPano Giga. A bit of sharpening and rescaling in GIMP.
While this image was shot in full manual mode, the camera supports aperture priority shooting with lenses that do not have electronic coupling. The live view focusing zoom makes life much easier.
