Looks good Erik .
I like the histories of telescopes world wide , I have just finished the Jodrell Bank radio telescope story , its another great read .
Real pioneers with no back up , except sweat and determination , its not seen much today sadly .
Brian.

I agree Eric. This book is an interesting read if you are interested in this side of astronomical history.

Just as interesting now is to follow the resurrection of this great telescope following its destruction when Mt Stromlo was lost to the Canberra bush fires.

One can follow this unfolding story at greatmelbournetelescope.org.au.

The dedicated team of volunteers are doing a great job. I will be lining up for a viewing once it is restored to its orginal glory in its original building.

Cheers

Steve.
