NGC 6744 revisited

A tough object to process, but I am reasonably satisfied with the final result.

LRGB 4.5 hrs L, 1 hr R,1 hr G, 1 hr B, ST-10XME.
Scope BRC-250.

Not one single reply and a small number of views.

If this image is so crappy then by all means state how it can be improved.
Or has this forum become a clique, that if you are no ones mate then expect the cold shoulder.

I like it. cool work

the external link creates a subconscious barrier for me. I prefer the images uploaded to IIS and the paper clip sign in the forum's view.
maybe, other people feel the same.

keep them coming, Steven

It was Sunday? Maybe people were off somewhere with families?

Anyhow, it looks good. Nice work.

Yikes!! Crappy?!!!! Cold shoulder?!! No way! ... Just haven't caught up yet - that's my excuse! That's a lovely rendition Steven - and yes, it is a tough one to process ... I remember! Don't be so sensitive!

Oh dear! I sure hope other people don't have this instant gratification barrier silv. You're missing out on a LOT if you don't click the links and wait. The links are a path to hi res heaven and the only way to appreciate good astro images IMO.

Cheers, Marcus

Thats a lovely shot - having tried it myself, I can agree how difficult it is to image

You should be rightly pleased with that one

Yep, looks good Steven. I really struggled with my attempt on this target. I must go back and try a repro some time...

Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks for the comments.

Forgive me for being overly sensitive to the initial lack of response.
I have to agree with Marcus, viewing only uploaded images as attachments doesn't do justice to the images.

Hi Steven

Sometimes things are slow and sometimes folks just don’t have a lot to say, but don’t let that detract from the pleasure, excitement and satisfaction you must experience in producing these wonder images.

Having said that, on my monitor it looks almost slightly posterized although the detail, colours and overall impression leaves me very happy to have seen this.

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Dennis.

I can't see the posterization on my monitor.

Regards

Steven
