Image I forgot to process, taken on 16th June.
Saxon ED100, Canon 1100D modded, 100x15sec exposures at ISO-800 stacked in DSS and processed in CS5.
Image is in jpeg quality so it lost some detail.
I think the stars could be a little more sharper.
wow, a thing of beauty. Now thats why I got into this hobby right there. Couple weeks now with my first dslr and learning fast ,but I have a long way to go me thinks.
very fascinating image. So many stars Upon viewing this image, it inspired me to do a little research on 47 Tuc and Globulars. Very interesting.
Inspirational
It's a shame you can't get longer exposure images, there are a lot of stars that would show with a touch more exposure.
How're you getting on with guiding?
I'll have another play with it when i get the chance, as i said its only a quick process.
I took this with the meade starfinder mount before i got the heq5 so there's no guiding.
Ah - cool -
I had a look at one of my images of Tuc47 and the stars that appear vaguely green in your shot are yellow in mine - try installing the HLVG plug in - it's free and removes green at the press of a button.
