Frist attempt at Jupiter

This is my first attempt to image Jupiter and probably the second time I have used the toucam pro, it was taken during the Europa transit last weekend.

No where near the quality images that are on here but am pleased with the first result.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Equipment used,

EQ mounted C8
WO 2" diagonal
2 x barlow
Toucam pro II

That's excellent for a first attempt daniel! Well done! Probably just needs a little more image scale next time - got a 3x or 4x barlow?

I'd be more than pleased if that was my first shot!

Het Daniel. Way to go!!

Nice image and good to see you joining the imaging madness

Like Mike says, a bit more image scale would be nice, but that's just coz we're greedy. You serve it up bigger and we open our eyes wider to take it all in

Keep it up. Well done

Very tasty, Daniel.

I can see that one of these days I'm going to have to get with the imaging program.

Thanks guys for all your replies!

Reading all the information on this site about planetary imaging made getting a shot of Jupiter with detail the first time much more easy.

Thanks Mike and Matt for the advice, I will try a extender next time to increase the image size, If that fails a 3x barlow is next on the shopping list!

Brian it was all the impressive images on IIS that made me decide to give it ago, and now I think I'm hooked, It's very rewarding capturing details on Jupiter that you normally find very hard to see visually.
