Prepaid Mobile Broadband Options

Currently I use a 3 Mobile USB 3G Modem (Prepaid) for internet access but the network is moving over to Vodafone which reviews state has poor service. So I am looking at other Prepaid Mobile Broadband options. Anyone used or using Amaysim?

I have Telstra prepaid But have just noticed their price has increased. It was 12gb for 150 dollars and lasted 12 months and was the best value for heavy users. I had the pocket wifi so could connect other users at the same time. Unfortunately it is now 180 dollars for this package so I will be hunting around for something else once mine runs out.

I also have a monthly allowance with Telstra but 8 gb only lasts us 2-3 weeks so we use the prepaid for the remainder of the month when we need something faster than dial up.

It is pathetic really, we are 40kms from the CBD but no adsl.

I used to have "Three" USB on a monthly plan-nothing but trouble. I must have replaced the USB modem at least 8 times in 1 year! Cheap but unreliable.
I now have Telstra prepaid pocket wifi-brilliant and totally reliable. Like Trixie says, it is more expensive, but it works!
I don't tear my hair out with unreliable garbage anymore.

My Telstra pre-paid deal (NSW) since the start was 10GB for $150/yr and now it's increased to 12GB/$180 yr, so it's $30 more for 2GB/yr.

I have an excellent connection in Tasmania with Virgin Broadband. I pay $39 per month for 12GB per month.
When I signed up for Post paid rather than pre paid the GBs doubled and the contract was for 12months with the first 5months half price.
Plus the send me a new USB modem when I renew the commitment.
