Stellarvue SV90 Raptor

Don't know if anyone is interested, but Stellarvue are selling their SV90 f7 Raptor with Carbon fibre tube at a $500.00 discount until Valentines Day.

Nice one, Laurie. Should be about as portable as your 80mm but a step up in aperture and quality. Let us know when it arrives.

Direct from Stellarvue in USA, Mark. They ship to Australia. If you are interested, just email them and they email you a pro-forma invoice-once you check the invoice and ok it, they send you a request for payment through Paypal.

LOL, the $500 bit might have been the issue mate, it's $500 off, not $500 total.

Still showing as available on the website, but I'm not going for it. Spent too much already this year and I love my SV80ED. You gonna keep both scopes?

I got an email from them this morning, and they said they are all sold. I think I'll keep the Nitehawk as well-its a beautiful little scope, and if I ever want to use a bin0-viewer it has a removable section of the tube so it can get focus without a barlow. I cannot see any false colour in mine-is yours the same?

My Nighthawk shows a tiny amount of false colour on bright objects, but it could be atmospheric rather than the optics. And I only notice if I go looking for it. Definitely a keeper!
