Here are some images from Friday night. It most mostly clear with the occasional light wisp of cloud passing over.
Southern Cross: 10 x 64 s @ ISO 100
Southern Sky: 13 x 48 s @ ISO 100
Omega Centauri (NGC5139): 6 x 48 s @ ISO 100, 8 x 48 s @ ISO 200
The annoying blue ring around the stars actually hightlights the Southern Cross in this image, so I think I like it providing I don't zoom in too much.
The Southern Sky shot was nothing spectacular so I plastered it with labels to highlight a few features
I like the omega centauri shot, I think it is my best widefield so far. Actually, the shot is not so widefield because I cropped it to 800 x 600 from the original full size image.
After shooting some images at ISO 100 I think I might go back to ISO 200. You get more fainter stars and not much more background noise in my opinion. I think ISO 400 is too noisy.
Also these shots have lost a bit of glitz in the process of resizing from 2576 x 1932 down to 800 x 600 for posting on the website.
