mirror blanks

Does anyone know of any suppliers of mirror blanks in Oz beside telescopes-astronomy.com.au? looking for good small blanks (6 inch)

Hi Rob,

No reason I guess I was just after some choice and thought that there must be more than one supplier in Australia for mirror blanks. I guess it was just a matter of comparing prices for blanks and grit etc...

Nah, I got a user name and password but can't log on. I haven't been in contact with the administrator yet about it, although I should. Want to go along to the Dark Site on the 22nd.

There sure are other suppliers. Try Schott Garsco glass in Sydney for Suprax blanks and from recent conversations I gather Bintel may have some plate glass blanks too.
