This is a terrific performer, and suits someone that either wants something rare as a collectible, or someone starting out that wants something that is a lot better than standard retail Chinese telescopes - as this is premium Japanese optics & engineering, it's a terrific system and wonderful value

Some usage scratches on the outside of the tube (standard for a telescope of this period), but no dents in the tube, and the mechanicals and the optics are excellent (as you would expect from Vixen)
I have just cleaned it up and serviced it, and it's in good condition, and mechanically & optically these units are terrific
