Jupiter - 21st April from tassie

Hi,

seeing might have topped out at 7 or 8/10, Got the mirrors within .5 of a degree of the ambient.

Main difference with say the last 3 is that I tested the brightness meter on k3ccd. Up until now, i have been at say 150, to get to 200 - 250, I had to lift brightness slider and gamma as well. Not sure if it has made a difference or not.

The left hand side ones I have tried to optimise for LCD laptop screens and the RHS for CRT's.

About to go out and have a go at europa transit

Hey Davo, another lovely set of images and great to see the comparison between Optimised Colour and Raw COlour. Surprised that you generally only capture at 150 on the brightness scale... I generally try and run >220 to avoid onions, though seeing seems to be a key culprit there too.

cheers,
