My Jupiter 22-4-06

OK here is my effort from lastnight, not that good and not as good as what it looks like through the scope, but considering what I was using I am suprised I detail at all.

This is about 750 frames aligned and stacked in registax, waveletts were fairly high on 4, 5 and 6. All automatic. resized by 150% too.

Seeing was pretty good about 7/10.. I used my little 4" TAL-1 without focuser as my EP's dont reach focus with the normal focuser in it. The 4mm plossl was just held in place with a bit of tape. This was done using eyepiece projection with a fuji finepix s7000 set to movie mode.

Hi Andrew, not bad for a setup held together with sticky tape. Looks like you got the GRS at lower left. Is the Fuji a camcorder?

cheers,

Gotta be happy with that considering! You've captured some good detail there.
Well done.

Good one Andrew. Good contrast on the first one. Makes the bands & details stand out more.

Well done mate.
