Barnard's Galaxy and Asteroid animation
I decided to reprocess my Barnard's galaxy image and converted an asteroid trail into an animation.
The asteroid can be seen as a moving small dot at around 2 o'clock to the galaxy. The asteroid was imaged over a 4 hour period.
The animation can be found here
http://users.westconnect.com.au/~sjastro/asteroid1.gif
A higher resolution of the galaxy (minus the asteroid) can be found here.

That's a great shot and nicely processed. Interesting with the asteroid, I noticed one in my own shot of this galaxy, being within about one arcmin of your asteroid. There sure are a lot of them around.
